Safty Restraint System Light
 

Hello
I have a 2000 Honda Accord Sdn that the srs light has come on and will not go off. I was wondering since it came on right at 100,000 miles if
this is just a reset or is there really a problem? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

SRS lite does not come on at any set mileage intervals .........
did you recently replace the battery ?? did the battery go really low on power ??
if yes to any of those questions go to our DIY section and find the post how to reset SRS lite

if battery was ok,, need to go to dealer and have them diagnose the code .. when SRS lite is on ,the air bags WILL NOT deploy should you get in an accident

And dont forget to check your warranty booklet. Back in 2000, Honda warrantied the airbags "for the useful life of the car".
