My niece was given a 98 accord w/165,000 miles. It is a V6 w/ AT. Most if not all of the service was performed by a mechanic, not Honda. She does not have any of the service records so we don't know what has been done to the car and the owner doesn't remember what he has had done over the years. Besides fluid changes, checking the brakes what should be done? Does the 98 V6 have a timing belt? If so I guess that is one more thing needing to be done.

 

It does have a timing belt. Maybe you should contact the mechanic that serviced the car find out when it was done.
