Cool Shift Solenoid B Removal, 2016 Accord V6

Hello all, this is my first post to this site. My daughter’s 2016 Accord V6 Touring with 55k miles is throwing the ‘P0756 shift solenoid B stuck open’ error code and the transmission is in limp mode. I was able to free it up a few times by tapping the solenoid with a wrench and the codes would clear and the car would drive normally but this no longer works. I did a 3qt fluid change with Honda ATF DW1. The drained fluid was a bit dark but I did not find any metal and the plug only had the normal amount of shavings on it. Has anyone here replaced the B solenoid on this generation Accord? I would love to see pictures, videos, part numbers, or anything else. 😉. I can’t find hardly anything via google search.

Thank you,
Tommy

It is part of the secondary valve body assembly. The shift solenoid B is not sold separately.

Thank you so much. It doesn’t even look like I can buy that part now due to manufacturer’s shortage. Darn.
