I have a 94 accord and i want to put a short throw on it. I really dont understand how to get the center consol out so if anyone has ne ideas can u let me know.

 

1. remove cup holder and remove the 1 screw close to the front edge. not one of the 2 screws in the bottom.
2. open armrest and remove panel to reveal 2 more screws there. remove them both
3. Lift and remove that section of the consol now.
4. remove the 2 screws from the panel that covers the shifter. located where the cup holder section previously hid.
5. Revove the last screw from behind the ash tray. the resto of the panel is held with clips.
just unplug any wires you need to after that to get easy access to the shifter assembly.

I have a short shifter in mine. Its not to bad
