Know anybody with a car/boat battery charger? It would be a shame to spend $80 if you don't have to.

Why not just jump start it? then drive it around a little bit and let the alternator recharge it.

Go to any advance or autozone, have them check the battery and Alt,then go from there.
At my job,a battery for your car would run as followed:

Autocraft Silver(so so) 74.99 +core
Titanium(good) 89.99+core
Optima yellow top(best) 169.99+core
Used(used) 20+core

Edit: The test should show whether or not the battery can actually hold the charge anymore. You will be wasting your time recharging a battery with a badcell
