Something To keep Up with my Brothers CLK320
Hey guys i got a 2000 coupe 4-cylinder auto. Iam looking for something to keep up with my brothers mercades clk320 coupe its a 2004 model. I was on the high way with him one day and he creamed me and lift me in the dust. Iam looking for a cheap power upgrade. Maybe turbo. But i dont want to change anything with internals of engine so iam looking to boost 7-8 psi. Will this boost be enough to Beat my brothers benz. Anyhelp will be appecaited. Oh and by the way my bros Benz is not stock its running K and N filters and some kind of ECU upgrade.
this thread is a joke huh? One of the moderators has posted this for grins and giggles??

attach a large parachute to his car.... he has a lot better power to weight ratio than you do and a turbo is going to run about $2000.00 which will probably bring you up to 220HP or so... I don't recall for sure what the base HP is but it's not going to be cheap to beat that car...
If this isn't a jokehis 3.2l Merc V-6puts out 215 HP in stock form. For you to get near him, much less take him plan on a $5000-$7000 experiment. A "cheap" power upgrade, as you described it, is simply not realistic.
Here's a turbo kit for $4 grand while it's on sale, oh, plus installation, tuning, etc. It's for a 7th generation but you get the idea----------

Well, his car is stock at 215hp, yours is stock at 150hp. I dont know that the K&N filter got him a ton of hp, but what kind of ECU upgrade does he have? A turbo is really the only way to go.
