Spark Plug Wire diagram
2 Attachment(s)
Hey so I recently did a complete gasket change of the valve cover gasket and the o rings for the spark plug wells due to major amours of oil in the wells. So in the process I changed the plugs and wires too.
Me being me I took off all the spark plug wires that connect to the distributer. (I know, you don't have to tell me how much of an idiot I am) I have looked online and have found diagrams (multiple ones that are different) and have had no success yet. I have been taking out the plugs and dryin em out with a torch because of the flooding I have been doing. Right now I have this diagram set up and I am getting an initiated spark ATM, but the car will not turn over and it just sounds like there not firing. Can someone please tell me what plug is running where to the distributer that currently has a running 97 honda accord SE. Thanks guys a lot. I really appreciate it!!! |
I moved your thread to the General Tech Help section. Please do not post questions in the DIY section.

Fire, that's a DOHC engine, not the stock Accord.
Anyway, Honda traditionally embosses a mark of some kind at the #1 post of the distributor cap. Maybe "A" or something?? Once you find #1, then the firing order is 1-3-4-2 clockwise. |
haha didnt notice that, ill snap a pic of mine when i can hope it will help
