SRS (red) light

2001 Honda Accord V6 over 100,000 miles. Few days ago, that red SRS red light came on and will not go away. Seat belt tensioner seems to be working as it automatically adjusts the tension based on the position of my body in the driver's seat. Could it be a problem with the airbag or something as simple as a blown fuse? Can anyone advise? Thank you.

Any part of the SRS system can cause the SRS light to turn on. You need to find out the code that is set to narrow down the problem.

The mechanical part of the seat belt will not set the SRS light. There is an electrical part of the buckle receptacle that can cause a the SRS light to turn on. That is somewhat common.

First get the code(s), then troubleshoot.

Check your warranty booklet. For a long time Honda had a "lifetime" warranty on seatbelts & airbags. Sometime before 2007 they changed that but it still might be something like 150k miles or 15 years.
