Stalling problems

I bought my 1999 Honda Accord on Craigslist a month ago.It was riding well but stalling slightly at the stop signs and the lights.I had a mechanic replace the timing belt and the water pump.Unluckily the car is worse off than before....it has a strange noise when running, still shakes at the lights, the accelerator pedal vibrates and the dash board makes noises.I took it to the Honda dealer who fixed the solenoid;the car improved a little bit but the problems still persists?any help

Honda dealer "fixed" WHICH solenoid? There's gotta be 25 solenoid valve on the car, few of which are related to the idle-control system. More information would help.

Top of this forum there's a thread "common DIY". In there is a link about setting the BASE idle. Try that.
