Start and Die

1990 accord. Car used to start everytime on the first crank. I'm 2nd owner. 150+K miles. The last 2 days driving it to work. It would start then die. Cranked 2nd time and it would start, and i would go onto work. Got in it one evening after work and was going to go to inlaws and car would start then die. Same thing everytime i would crank it. I noticed no lights on on dash or even the clock would't come on, when switch was turned on. Car starts then instantly dies.
Question: Does this sound like the key switch is bad or the main relay??
Or something else. Thanks guys for any help.
This forum helped me with another issue i had approx a year ago. At that time the car wouldn't start at all. You all helped me pinpoint that issue, which was the igniter. Thanks again.

Sounds more like the ign switch-"no lights or clock". Holding the key "slightly" forward, what happens, still not a def test but a small indication....personally, I would not have my e-mail address in the open.

Thanks poorman. I'll try that. Tried today, all lights still off. Radio still plays when in the accessory position tho. I'll keep looking. Thanks for any info tho.

i think you are on the right track ign switch and fuel relay when you turn the key all the way on and the engine light goes out you should hear the main fuel relay click that means its working if you dont hear that click than its stuck and it will not start or it will start and die.
