start up problem
 

Ok this Is a wierd problem I just can't figure out. When I start the car in the morning or after not running for 6+ hours I have to let the car idle for 2+ minutes (even more on the cold Canadian mornings). If I leave to early the rpm wil drop to the point of almost stalling and then jump to about 1500rpm and do this a couple times 3-4 then stablize orif I don't have time and let it warm up for less then a minute and drive it a mile down the road the problem goes away by the time I get to the first or second stop sign or light(depending on how cold it is outside). The car is a 92 5speed any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My 2000 5spd does that every now and then. I just think it is theengine needing to warm up.
Has the car ever completely stalled out?

yes the car has stalled out but about I in every ten times

You need to add description of your Accord to your signature line.

The Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) may be sticking in cold conditions starving air flow to the engine. This would result in low idle speed, perhaps unstable idle speed as the valve gradually warmed (coolant circulates through the IACV), and finally a stable idle as the fully warmed valve begins to function correctly.

A good thorough cleaning of the IACV may cure the problem. Clean the inlet screen and internals w/ throttle body cleaner while avoiding wetting the solenoid housing.
