Sun Visor Tint/Glare Tint
 

Hi

I have a 2008 Honda Accord. I got the windows tinted from the dealer. I realized that there was "Sun Visor Tint/Glare Tint" missing on the front wind shield.

My question is Can we do this tinting our self, If yes can you name a best brand and where to get it? Also whats the legal percentage allowed (my windows are at 30% dark level) The dealer is charging a hefty amount.

I live in Texas and I need this tinting done badly.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would just go to a Tint shop that does the 3M tint. They can do the visor strip
fairly cheap. It can leagaly only go down so far. It does take skill and practice to do it right.

Go to the shop, it won't be too expensive. The "brow"/visor tint on the windshield usually has to be asked for, they don't do it automatically (probably because it's illegal in most states to have ANY tint on the windshield). There is a line on the windshield marking how low the brow can go.
