Surging Idle

Hey everyone, new here:D A few days ago my 93 Honda accords idle started surging at a stop. I'm waiting on my new flex pipe to get here so I can replace this. The flex pipe has small holes in the top could this be causing the surging? I will also have the ICV checked. Thanks!

Edit.. I wanted to add I just got a new timing belt put on. After the shop did the work the car had great power then started idle surging.

RE: Surging Idle

If the timing belt and water pump were recently done, I would make sure that there is no air in the coolant.

There is a bleed valve that you unscrew on top of the thermostat housing that you open when you have the radiator cap off. If there is air in there, coolant will spit out with the air. Once the coolant comes out in a steady stream, close that valve and top off the raditor.
