any one have any idea how much it costs to replace a syncro?

mine for 5th is shot so it grinds everytime you put it into 5th

local honda dealership quoted me at $1400............

i could buy 2 new transmissions for that much

Try findingseveral transmission specialist shops in the phone book & calling for quotes. Till then, have you tried Redline MTF? RTexasF highly recommends it
