A/T low fluid sensor 91 Accord

Can anyone tell me for certain if the accord has a low fluid sensor? Problem: going down the road suddenly car shuts down, engine will turn over. 5 or 10 min. go by car starts and may go 10 miles shut down again. Car does not shutdown will idle in drivway. Checked ATF and was 1 1/2 qt. low. Filled system and now car runs fine. Haynes manual show a code for A/T FI but not sure what that is.
Anyone ever have that trouble?

The power steering is tied in with the transaxle so who knows what else may be.

I really don't think there's any kind of ATF level sensor - especially not to make the engine stall.

But I'll move this to General Tech which is a better place for this kind of question.

there is NO AT fluid level sensor ;;;;;;being low on ATF will not make the car shut down and than restart 10 minutes later.. low on ATF will make tranny slip or unable to go into other gears..You got a different issue that will come up again.........
when car did not start did you chk to see if there was spark or fuel available ??

sounds to me more like an electrical issue,, igniter ??
