tail lights

I have no tail lights (night running lights) on my 95 Accord LX. I have changed the bulbs, checked the relay (under the hood) and checked all fuses. Anyone have a clue? I do have brake lights, turn signals, head lights, etc.

Are the tail lights, license plate lights, and rear side marker lights out?

All those lights get voltage from the same source (the combination light switch) and share the same ground (G551). You need to figure out which half of the circuit is not working.

Get a volt meter. Unplug one of the bulbs.

The red/blk wire should have 12V to ground (any bare metal). The blk wire should have continuity (zero resistance) to ground. The grounding point for those lights is in the trunk near the driver's side tail light, G551.

Download the shop manual for a 94 accord from any of the links in the Online Manuals thread in the DIY section. The two pages I am referring to are 23-26 and 23-185
