Default temperature gauge repair/replacement 93 Accord ???

Hi ya'all.

Surely there's a way to either repair, (when the needle pin breaks off in the unit), or replace, (available replacements?), ONLY the temp gauge without having to replace the entire instrument cluster ???

Thanks

I think it would be very difficult to repair a broken one and still have it be accurate.

They aren't hard to replace, if you can find a replacement. You can try ebay, but I think you will mostly find entire clusters. You could just buy the cluster, and then take the temp gauge out. You can usually get a cluster for around $50.

I have 1 or two 94-97 temp gauges laying around, I'm not sure if they are the same, probably not.

Yup yup. I've bot several clusters, and just tired of spending $50 a pop just for a tiny push pin piece of metal. If someone would just sell the gauge only they'd make a mint!

If anyone hears of an aftermarket gauge available, Please let me know.

Thanks

You should be able to swap out the entire fuel/temp gauge when you take apart the cluster. A new one from the discount online Honda stores runs $87.
