Default 93 LX issues

So here's what I've got. I just bought this 93 Accord. It's got an F4 motor in it, which I think makes it a motor swap right off the bat. When I bought the car I knew it wasn't running. We almost had the car running this weekend, but not quite. After we figured out the timing, it was on to the starter. There are two different starters offered for this motor. I need to know how to tell which starter I need, and I need to know if there is a difference in the flexplates for each motor. The thing fired up, but then immediatley made a nasty squeel, like something just locked up, and now the starter won't turn the motor over at all. I'm thinking it's in the tranny, but I don't know for sure. I'm not a big automatic guy. Shouldn't I be able to spin the flywheel with a pry bar? Would turning the front wheels with the car in drive allow me to see the flywheel spin? We're going to try and get the motor out next weekend, and we should know more then. I was just hoping for something to try in the mean time. Pleae let me know if you need any more information than I've provided.

You should be careful when turning the flywheel with a pry bar, because you could damage a tooth on it. You can try turning the crank shaft pulley bolt in the direction that the engine turns and looking to see if the flywheel turns too.

Yeah, we tried that. It won't move at all. We're pulling the motor out this week so I'll know if it's the tranny or if the motor is seized up. I'm almost leaning toward a locked up torque converter or just a bad transmission.
