anyone know if this is a good thing to buy? pros and cons of it? is it worth buying? |
RE: Throttle Body
Not worth it.
|
RE: Throttle Body
i heard they give more power and acceleration.
is this true? should i even bother getting one? |
RE: Throttle Body
I didnt think F series throttle bodies were interchangeable with d/h/b. and skunk2 doesnt make them for the F.
I have a 68mm on my h22, but it hurts mid range power, but really opens up in the top end. I wouldnt get one for a stock f22 though |
RE: Throttle Body
Damn near everything is interchangeable between F and H blocks/trans
|
RE: Throttle Body
so dont even worry about getting a new throttle body?
whats a good way to get more out of acceleration? |
RE: Throttle Body
throttle body really isnt worth it unless you have a highly modified engine, forced induction. and you dont really see the gains till its dyno tuned.
as for acceleration. intake exhaust header that whole deal. and depending on what year/model accord you have you could swap in a prelude tranny with or without a lsd for shorter gear ratios which equal faster acceleration |
RE: Throttle Body
i got a 95 accordlx i think.
its got the f22b2. what are the ratios? the tranny i have now compared to prelude. |
