Throttle Body Question
Before I start bashing in my windshield after searching high/low/in/out.. i figured I'd ask because I'm usually decent with my DIY projects..(probably why I'm so pissed)
Anyway, there is some sort of vacuum line/hose coming off of the back of my throttle body.. I have no effffffing clue what it is for or where it goes.. I have searched the internet, diagrams, owners manual.. and chiltons.. NOTHING..
If someone could please please tell me what this is and where it goes I would be grateful..

The last picture looks like maybe the IACV (#8)? But it's too close in to see the context.

Water hoses to the IACV are here, but I can't find the 3rd hose that you highlighted in the picture. (BTW I like the little guy pulling his hair out)

That actually looks accurate to me, now just to figure out where it should go.. at least on my car.. thank you guys a lot. This should help me.. BTW having this disconnected could cause overheating issues correct? I mean, this is a vacuum line.
ok, That line/hose is right next to the iacv, very close proximity.. however, I cannot take better pictures because there is no clearance. But in one of the diagrams PAhonda posted on the number 8, just like you said, the hose is coming off of that circular thing. I have searched all around and I am still coming up short. I'm going to keep searching online for more info.
You seem to have an IACV with three hoses. All the pictures show just two coolant lines. Is this a non U.S. Vehicle? Can you remove the third hose and see what is under there. Maybe the hose is something someone added as the picture looks to have a something in that area but it may not be made for a hose.

Ok, I have solved the issue, but only thanks to the wonderful individuals here on this forum.. so thank you.
so here goes;
so the line actually connects to a small hose coming from the the backside of the valve cover, it had receded back behind the fuel rail so I couldn't see it. anyway the bracket that is on the metal part of the hose with a screw hole in it is supposed to be screwed in to the fuel rail/ support rail. and the answer to the question if this is an american car, yes it was purchased in america. The car was starting rough, idling rough for a few secs then leveling..
I am wondering if having that hose disconnected could cause the engine to overheat which is the reason I started this process in the first place.
if you guys want pics let me know and I'll post some

Some parts stores show a different valve for a California Accord but no photo. Is yours a California Accord? That is not going to be your overheating problem. When does it overheat?
it doesn't fully overheat because I don't let it get that far, I just notices the overflow bottle bubbling the other day, so I replaced the thermo, the other day when I was driving it, it started to bubble but it did not reflect on the temp gauge, also I put a lower temp thermo for replacement and it seems like the engine takes forever to warm up and run cooler, but yet the other day when it was bubbling the temp gauge was at normal temp
