Torque Converter -replace or not?? 99 Accord 4cyl.

Torque Converter -replace or not?? 99 Accord 4cyl. Hello all,

I am about to re-build the auto trans (BAXA) in my 99 Honda Accord 4cyl (102,00 mi.).

Is it good practice to replace the torque converter when re-building the trans even if the TC shows no signs of needing replaced??

If I should replace it, are re-builds just as suitable as new OEM?? Cost of rebuild is $150-200. Cost of OEM from stealership is $563.00.

If I buy a re-build, any suggestion on what vendor to purchase from?

Who has the best warranty?

Any help much appreciated.
