Transmission drain plug size?

wanted to know the size of the drain plug on transmission or any other suitable fitting for that matter.. trying to get this to fit in the tranny..

http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/threadadapters.aspx

i wanted to run a transmission temp gauge that comes with a 1/8 male fitting.. however im assumeing that 1/8 is way too small for the transmission, so which one of the adapters would work? if any?
is there a better way to do this?

car is 2003 accord v6 AT

RE: Transmission drain plug size?

You might have trouble sealing everything together, but it seems like it would be fine. Once you find out the size, make sure that you have a new crush washer and I'd probably use purple Leak Lock in the sensors threads.

RE: Transmission drain plug size?

This is all the info I can find on it:

BOLT, PLUG (18MM) No Color
WASHER, DRAIN PLUG (18MM) No Color

It most likely has a 1.5mm thread pitch, and a 12 or 14mm diameter thread.
