Just bought a new Accord V6. Heard a noise with a belt. Took it to the dealer and they had to reference back to Honda directly. Diagnosis - the thought is that it may have to do with the accessory belt, which Honda is shipping out a bolt kit to help adjust the belt. Does this seem reasonable? The dealer claims I am the first to report and they can definitely hear the problem. The dealer tells me that there are other owner with issues because the code about belt noises Honda listed for dealers to call. I am getting worried because I am the only one brining it to the dealer's attention. What should I do? Request a brand new car or give them a chance to fix this?
