Turn Signal lights/Hazards not working. relay not the cause

Hello Guys, just bought a 2007 Accodd from a dealer, he tol he the signal lights weren't working but all.I needed to do was to buy a new relay. I also went online and it seemed this was a pretty common fault (relay wise). I did the wiring test whereby one connects a wire between 2 and 6, and the lights came on.
Now I purchase a new relay and install it but jo luck. I got a friend with a similar car and swapped his relay, but it still wouldn't come on. So now I dont k'm ow.:-) ow to proceed. I don't have any dealer close by so I have to do this on my own. so please does anyone have any ideas?
PS I checked the hazard switch and it appears alright.

I would suggest buying the 07 shop manual. You can buy one from automanualsource.com for $21.99 and it will give you several tests to try at the relay with a volt meter to help identify the problem.

Thank you PAhonda. I'll try the manual and see
