uncontrollable revving

Ok so I've got trouble with my '93 accord,

Recently, when my car's in Park either just after I drive it or when it's been idling for about 30 seconds after I start it, the engine uncontrollably revs up over and over all by itself. I have no idea what it could be. I got an oil change today and the guy there told me it could be my fuel injector... but I took this to be him trying to hose me as is their nature. Any ideas or past experience with this problem?

Thanks!

RE: uncontrollable revving

hold on..it revs up..then revs down..then it revs up again? and if it does that it could be your idler valve..which on your car is most likly located on your intake manifold by your EFI sticker. there should be a cylinder looking thing..remove the 2 screws on top of it and use a screwdriver to alter the valves positioning...this should solve the problem..if it doesnt you will need to spend around 200 bucks for a new one.....good luck
