Default VIN Decoding?

Hi Everyone!

I just bought a 2010 Accord, 2.4L Automatic. I posted a few pics on the new members thread.

I tried to decode the VIN online but it doesn't really show anything specific. I used the VIN decoder that was posted on this forum.

If I take it to a dealer, would they be able to show me past service records and mileage?

Thanks, F1

The VIN decoder will tell you where the car was made, the year, sedan/coupe, trim level, and that is about it. For maintenance records, call the dealership and give them the VIN to find out if they have records on your car.

There are a number of sites online that will give a car's sale & repair history, of course any report is only as good as the data that has been entered
