hi all..
i just purchased a 1998 honda accord ex v6 3.0ltr and the daytime running lights do not work and the DRL light on the dash is always lite up... what might be done to solve this issue?

i have another question... for some reason with my remote i cannot lock the passenger door only the drivers.. and even on the inside using the drivers lock unlock function on the door panel it doesnt lock the passenger door.. i gotta reach over and lock/unlock it manually.. anyone had this problem or kno how to fix it?


and does anyone know or have tried to install a 2001-2002 accord front bumper with the fog holes on a 1998-2000 accord?

 

Allyou have to do is find out which fuse is for the daytime running lights and replace it. On my 2006 accord it's fuse #3.

 

1.) There are fuse panels on both sides of the dash and in the engine bay, check the fuse labeled "DRL" or "Day Lights". Check the bulbs. I'm assuming you're in Canada since 6th gen US Accords don't have DRLs.

2.) The door lock actuator is likely the culprit. It sounds more like a loose connector more than a failed actuator. I'd double check all fuses first before tearing the door apart.

3.) The 01-02 Coupe bumper swap is a popular thing to do. However, you need to get the coupe hood with it too, otherwise there is a nasty gap. 6thgenaccord.com would have more info on this is the DIY section or search. Search, or they will yell at you over there.
