VSS Replacement Instructions?
 

A while back someone posted a link to instructions (with nice pictures) on how/where to install the VSS for a 1995 Honda Accord. I had the link saved and now I cannot find it since its time for me to install it...lol. Does anyone know how/where I could find that information? Thank you very much...

you can goto our DIY section and look under the manuals section and download a free manual, otherwise removal of that is super simple, it's just one bolt on either side of it needs removed, then lift it out and disconnect the wires, slip the new one in, bolt it down and connect it and you're done.

I don't have any detailed instructions, but asSir_nasty said, the procedure is pretty straightforward. I did it on my '94 5 Speed EX Wagon, and the part that took the longest was locating the sensor. Some pointers, though:
- I removed the intake hose from the throttle body to the air filter housing. Once that's out, you'll be able to see the sensor towards the rear (nearest the bulkhead) and near the top of the transmission. IIRC, in had 3 10mm bolts holding it down.
- I don't remember if it was necessary, but I raised the front of my car to access the sensor from the bottom, too.
Other than that, it was inplug, unbolt, remove.
