Check the tension on the belt.

Are any warning lights on - ABS ?

Ok, here is where I'm at. The noise is not the alt, instead it is the ABS pump. A least my "guess" at this point.

To get the codes - ECU, TCU, SRS or ABS - jump the service connector (pass side under/behind glove box) and turn the key to on and count the flashes from the lights (again - CEL, D4, ABS or SRS).

Let us know what code you get from which light and we can go from there. I'll guess you will get an ABS pump over run code from the ABS light.

Recheck the CEL code - 93 does not come up. If you can take a video of the lights/flashes we might be able to help (long vs. short)

ABS - if it is 1-3 that is a high pressure leakage. I would start, again just me, by double checking the fluid level in the ABS unit. Then bleed the ABS unit.

D4- a 15 is for the mainshaft sensor. I'd pull the sensor, clean the end of it and re-install.

Clear the codes - pull the fuse from the under hood fuse box to the ECU. Give it ~20 seconds or so and re-install fuse.

Drive the car for a bit and recheck codes if any come back.
