what could this noise be?

Hi, me again.

another small problem i am having is a noise. Its not so loud that its been annoying so far, but its there so i wonder if any of you had an idea.

Basically I notice it at low, neighborhood speeds but i assume it happens at higher speeds too. This happens in any gear, noticing it at 10-30 mph. Rpm does not seem to matter. It stops when i push in the clutch, and starts when the engine is back in gear. It is like a chirping kind of sound. Turning or braking do not seem to have any effect in it.

If it's a whistling type of sound, and you have a manual tranny what you probably need to do is to take the two 12mm bolts off the slave cylinder in the front of the transmission and put some grease on the ball piece on the end. Then put it back on.

sounds like a pilot bearing issue to me...
