What is the name of this part???

I am getting a 1987 Honda Accord LXI from a family member and the person that they got it from removed the circled part to apparently bypass the O2 sensor. I have looked in a repair manual but can not seem to locate this part. If anyone has any idea as to what it is, I greatly appreciate the help!

Thank you

That is the cruise control unit. It may also be called the CC actuator.

Thank you for replying!

Would you by chance know if that would have anything to do with the O2 sensor? I don’t see how they would relate but he told them that he removed that to bypass the O2 sensor.

I can't think of anyway that the Cruise actuator would cause O2 codes  Ok at a reach you might get a vac leak that might throw off the computer but I would think there would be other issues.

What exactly are you trying to do? Are there any codes being given currently?l

Im not sure if there are any codes. I went to look at it the other day and it wouldn’t start bc of battery, but when my family member said that the guy she got it from said he removed that part to bypass the O2 sensor, I’ve been trying to figure out the name of the part. Where I live the car has to pass an emissions test so I was seeing if I needed to get that part replaced.

Removing that isn't any different than having a car that isn't equipped with cruise control...

But make sure that any vacuum hoses aren't just left open - Plug or cap them.
