Wheel Bearing issue
 

Ok so i bought this accord and was told when i bought it, it had a bad wheel bearing on the drivers side. So i jacked it up and grabbed at 12 and 6 on both wheels i had some play on both sides. i replaced both front wheel bearings and a passenger side axle. I then drove for maybe 100 miles and i had a pretty bad grinding sound on the front and i also noticed and ring around one of my break rotors. I jacked it up and took off the wheel and the bearing was so loose that my rotor was rubbing on my caliper bracket. so i replaced that bearing again. No more than another 100 miles down the road and the same thing happened with the other side. Now i have a loud grinding noise coming from the front of the car. I jack the front end up and grab at 12 and 6 on both wheels and there is no play. i did notice that i have a bad upper ball joint on the passenger side. im not really sure what could be making this grinding noise, or why i would have to replace wheel bearings after only 100/200 miles of driving. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
Also i think i forgot to add in my sig that the engine is a 2.2 with 145k

Also i got it aligned and it seemed to help at first but then got worse

How are you installing the bearing onto the hub?

I've been taking just the hub and the bearing to Tire Discounters and having them press the old bearing off and the new bearing on.

If you didn't fully seat the wheel bearing hub in the wheel knuckle recess, you would have alignment problems between brake rotor and brake caliper. You need to clean the knuckle recess carefully, lube, and pull hub in w/ the 4-bolts.

An incomplete installation might cause rotor to strike the brake pad steel support, if they were well worn pads.

The rotars and the pads are brand new on the front

Is the hub pulling from the bearing only on one side of the car?

Well no at first i had two bearings that were brand new go bad one on each side.
Now it is just one that is making grinding sounds on the drivers side

As long as you got the bearing bolted and seated into the knuckle properly, then I would suspect that the hub is the problem.

If the bearing was damaged enough where it warped/wore out the hub, it may not stay pressed in the bearing. I would consider getting a replacement hub.
