Workshop Manual

Hi Guys,

I have an Accord Coupe 2.0 ES. its the 2000 model. does anyone know if i can use a normal Honda Accord workshop manual for most of the cars mechanical parts? Haynes have not produced a manual for the Coupe and i need to do some work on it. i refuse to pay crazy prices to a mechanic for work i am happy to do myself, but i want a workshop manual as its my pride and joy and dont want to break it lol.

Any info will be a great help. i am in the UK if that makes a difference?

I have just been to the Honda service centre near me, they informed me that there is no workshop manual available as the car was made in the USA. is this correct? were all the coupes made in the USA?

After a little reaserch i found the following

http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...2599&langId=-1

would this be the correct manual? i dont want to spend 20 quid and find out it is the wrong one!

I have heard that you can buy US-made coupes in England. Don't know if that means that NO coupes AT ALL were made in Swindon? What's the 3rd-4th-5th digits of the VIN? That should indicate what car body-type it is.

Look in the DIY section in the thread about on-line manuals? What's linked there might be an .iso file in which case you have to burn it to a CD before you can use it.
