Wow... what a difference with Redline fluid.

Hi,

Over the week-end I changed out my engine Oil from M1 5w-30 EP (6k Miles on it) to Redline 5-30, and also the Manual Transmission fluid (10k Miles on it) from Honda MTL to Redline MTL. All I can say the car feels much smoother, the engine feels quiter, and the shifiting much smoother (specially at cold).

I had heard good things about Redline engine/Gear Oils, but had never had them. But after 100 miles I am really impressed.

Those of you who use Redline, how many miles does the euphoria last (in steert driving)?

I had changed a 2001 Saab from their special synthetic to Redline MTL and it made an improvement. Wasn't an awesome improvement, but noticable. Nice to know, maybe when the Civics are due for MTL change...

I put a coctail of Redline along with Pennzoil Synchromesh into my Saabaru and it made a nice improvement. But that shifter still isn't as nice as a Honda shifter.

I would say after a couple hundred miles you'll be accustomed to it. But then go back & drive someone else's Accord - THEN you'll remember the improvement all over again.
