Default How about different subforums for models

basically the generations:

First generation (1976–1981)

Second generation (1982–1985)

Third generation (1986–1989)

Fourth generation (1990–1993)

Fifth generation (1994–1997)

Sixth generation (1998–2002)

Seventh generation (2003–2007)

Eighth generation (2008–present)

I just feel it would allow people to post their problems or questions in the appropriate area for answers..

How do the mods feel about this?

We haven't had any luck getting some forum-structure changes that we've been wanting for awhile. Like the whole DIY area.

This isn't a bad idea, but I'd maybe suggest a different lineup
1/2/3-gen (A-series engines)
4/5/6-gen (F-series engines)
7/8... (K-series engines)
V-6 engines separate, especially 5th-gen V-6 which is a real orphan.

There's a majority of problems/postings/solutions that are good across everything with an F-series engine, for example. And a lot of things like windows & door latches that really apply across EVERY generation.

We have been trying to get the owners to put these in there for a good while, but as you can see no such luck.
