help with a.b.s.
Hi,
i will be fitting another a.b.s. pump/modulator in the near future to my 1993 accord se 20ltr.
Would like some advice on what to do after it is all bolted in, i.e. how to bleed, when to re-connect the battery,do i need the engine running?
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks....fletcher.

ABS modulator does not require special bleeding after replacement. Make sure both master cylinder and ABS reservoir are full of brake fluid, and bleed the brakes at all 4-wheels in conventional manner. Check MC reservoir while bleeding to be sure it stays nearly full. ABS modulator pump will run and displace any air back into reservoir. You may need to top up the reservoir.
You need a flare tubing wrench to remove the tubing nuts from the modulator. Otherwise, you're almost certain to damage some of the very difficult to replace nuts (have to replace entire tubing section or splice in a new piece w/ new nut).
good luck
