2000 EX V6 Coupe help

Hey guys, I need some help, I just got my 2000 EX V6 Coupe in november of '05, She runs great and looks even better, but... I'm 18 and interested in some mods. Now its not a standard so I'm not really into the heavy power part, I'm just interested in making her breathe better for the time being, I've been looking at cold air intakes, cat backs and headers, but am really uneasy about these websites with no info. can anyone offer any help at all? if so its greatly appreciated, Thanks

Bobby

I would definitely search around the intake/header/exhaust section and do a little investigating. There is a ton of information to be learned. I would probably go with the intake first (I really like short rams since hydrolock is almost impossible and they sound great, but others will swear by CAI), and then move to headers and exhaust.

If you want the most power from your cia or shortram, go with good brand names. AEM makes great shortrams and cai's and injen is another decent brand for cai. DC sports seems to makes the best header for the accord, from which almost all others seem to copy.

If you want the best of both short ram and cai worlds, the AEM v2 is the way to go. I had one on my accord and it rocked. Sounded awesome and I noticed the power immediately. I also have an HKS muffler, and it sounds great. nothing farty at all.

yea i also am a believer in short ram intakes...and i think that the cheap ones on ebay give you the best bang for the buck. i also like the filters with the filter indent in the middle. the v6 has an easier time sounding good with exhaust but if you put n1 style mufflers on it.....it will sound pretty raspy. a good header is going to cost you some good money and one of the best that i know of is comptech. prolly for exhaust i would recommend the world sport exhaust
