catalytic converter warranty
 

honda accord 2007.

last year i had my catalytic converter replaced and it since has failed and needs to be replaced. the dealer told me that i had driven 15k miles since then and that it is not under warranty. i was looking up warranties for catalytic converter and every part comes with a 5yr and 25k to 50k miles. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows any addition information.

Its 8 years or 80,000 Miles. Thats FEDERAL Law. The 2 year warranty are on other emission components. The cat is a major component.
