Check Engine Light!!

I owne 2009 accord coupe v6. I recently installed AEM CAI pat 21-683, I unhooked battery while I was installing the intake. after installed I drove about 15 miles and check engine light came on . I ran ecu scan and it indicates that there is leak in the intake. I double checked and made sure that everything is nice and tight but light is still on and it's bugging me.

anybody has advice for me?

Help

Thanks

Scan the code and post up the "Pxxxx" code. The description you gave is too vague.

If all else fails, put the stock intake back in and take it to the dealer for warranty work.

I have heard that with some CAI that it may take some time for the cars comp to adjust itself to the differences that come with the CAI. After a certain period of time if you try to dis-connect the battery and reconnect it, it should clear the CEL. This is just what i have read/heard, not sure of the validaty of this.

I think i might take it to a shop and have them reinstall intake and see whether it can be fix or not before I put the orginal intake on. I think that's the best way i can think of at least.

Thanks guys.

A leak in the EVAP system is NOT the same as a leak in the intake. Most of the EVAP system is located around the EVAP canister underneath the car near the gas tank.

Ok, just so you understand, the code has absolutely nothing to do with the intake system.
