Deeper note exhausts?

So I'm trying to get my 03 accord (the 4 cyl) a new exhaust, but I don't want that loud sound common with most aftermarket exhausts. I was lookin at the Apexi WS2 Catback Exhaust for that deeper note, but the price tag is pretty high for me. Are there any cheaper alternatives to this exhaust? The only other system I've found similar to it were the Tanabe Medallion's, but they are priced about the same.

Hey at one time i was thinking the same and found ANSA muffler. 1 inlet and 2 outlets but its a s.s performance muffler. Deep low tone when you open the throttle but quiet enough at cruise speed and stop and go traffic

He's right , the ANsa Exhaust system does have a very good sound too it..Go to car shows and you will always see a few cars with them installed..

most hondas will have a higher pitch kinda fart can sound -.- bbuutt there are a few mufflers out there that have deeper tones. i took a straight pipe and made a home made catback to a VAREX muffler. it has a butterfly valve that i can control to alter my volume. when closed, it sounds like stock, even without a resonator or mid muffler. when open, it is DEEP and well over the legal limit as far as noise goes. luckily, there are inbetween options so you dont get in trouble. I have been pulled over 6 times since installing, and in jersey, cops dont carry decibal meters so they cant ticket for noise w/o proof.

varex made by xforce are most likely higher then what ur currently looking at... but that stainless steel, whether its a cannon or oval.. always brings out the w0w factor.

I would try and go with magnaflow, that's what i have installed on my 97 accord and it sounds great, noticable with a nice deep tone
