ebay intake?
hahaha that was so funny, my cousin bought an intake from ebay for 25 bucks plus shipping so around 30. Hahaha wonder if it really work. Does it matter what kind of brand you get because i think it do the same thing for your car right?

RE: ebay intake?
If he put that in his car and it work fine maybe ima buy it for myself. I dont want to spend 150 for just the AEM that give the same horsey for my accord

RE: ebay intake?
Yes it will work. Just find a replacement filter like K&N or AEM Dryflow.
Think about it...its just a metal tube. The reason why AEM and Injen are so expensive is that it's CARB exempt. |
RE: ebay intake?
hahaha i guess ima buy it and try it out

RE: ebay intake?
It's a proven design. I think at least a quarter of HAF members have went to eBay route.
The only issue with eBay intakes...you're gonna have to plug up some random tubes/holes that the metal intake tube has...don't ask why it's there...it's just there. hi temp silicone should solve the problem. You have a 98 Accord...which means the tube is long and spans the engine....more air rushes in as a result. the tube is really, really short in the 7th gen. Check out my pics to see. |
RE: ebay intake?
oh
so that mean more air rush in and more horsey? |
RE: ebay intake?
how much horsey you think i can get from it? My cousin told me i should get around 2 or 3
|
RE: ebay intake?
yeah not much at all. usually five, higher if you're lucky.
|
RE: ebay intake?
1-3 for 4. 4-7 for 6. SRI
2-4 for 4. 6-9 for 6. CAI. |
RE: ebay intake?
the thing im afraid of is that the tube might be too big or too long. I dont know for sure how it look
