whats the difference between a sponge filter..
and a reguler k&n or aem dry flow filters...

Um there is a difference the "sponge filter" sucks more air in but it can hydrolock your engine faster and easier. The sponge which is foam is a better filter it allows more flow

Isn't that an oxymoron? If something filters better, it will catch more particles. As it catches more particals, it will have less flow through it. I guess if you clean it more often it would be good, but that becomes time consuming.

yea i wonder cause i see sponge filters on alot of modded cars but i wonder..
So how do u prevent a hydrolock and how does it happen...

It isn't a sponge it is a foam well don't allow your filter to get submerged in water.

Yea that wont happend cali dont get flooded well not where i stay at...lol
