the V2 should help a bit but if you truly believe it's the added heat doing it then get some heat sheild and wrap the intake tubing, that will help it stay cool.

Are you in a hot climate?

At those speeds, the air is moving too fast through the engine bay and the intake for heat soak to occur, so the pipe temp doesn't even factor into this scenario. In the winter when the air is colder, you should see a bit more power than in te summer when the air is hot and a good fraction is water vapor instead of burnable air.

if you have an SRI hooked up, the resonator in the bumper isn't hooked up to anything. I'd remove it just because it shouldn't be there if yuo have an SRI. Like SN said though ..... if you are concerned about heat soak, get a shield (Injen makes it), but this will help at low speeds, not 100 mph.

My dad has a 2001 accord LX. It can get up to 120mph before it starts to hit a wall. I don't see your intake slowing you down that much in hot weather. Seems more like something is wrong with the engine. If somehow the engine is fine then I don't see why you would need to get the AEM V2 just to go over 100mph on the freeway. It's fine if you do it on the track but it's pretty dumb to do it on the roads where you can hurt other people. But from you post it seems like you have gone over 100 plenty of times on the freeway. I really hope you don't live anywhere near me or people that I know.

Not that I condone these actions buuuutt.....if your guys cars are "hitting a wall" or can't make it past 100mph...get a tune up. The accord is drag limited but it can do 130mph.
