j30a1 info
i was looking for some info on my j30a1 in my 2000 ex v6 and i found this webpage (link below) that claims 87 octane will outperform 89 octane because of the compression ratio (9.4:1). im not concerned about the money but i want to know what will give me the best performance, and more importantly, what is best for the car. i have used 89 octane since i bought the car, and i beleive the manual says to use at least 87, but 89 is better for the car, long term. i would appreciate any opinions on this from you guys and what you beleive is best.
