are japanese companies better than american ones when it comes to catbacks?

ive heard a few times that japanese cars shouldnt use magnaflow and such because they are too restrictive and its an american company, so it wont work as well
is that true?

RE: are japanese companies better than american ones when it comes to catbacks?

nope... it may have been true at one time in the past but it's not so true anymore since research has brought them all close to the same level.... Cigars are a good example of this, at one time Cuban cigars were the best on the market but now days if you ask any cigar specialist they will tell you that you can get ones grown/made in america that match their quality....

Depending on what sound etc I wanted I would have no qualms about putting on a Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Apexi, Greddy, or OBX....
