Lets hope I got the right intake...

I just went to a u pull it and spent four hours getting the intake manifolds out of a 99 Accord. It was a VTEC and looked like an F series. But the block said "HM". In the spot where the engine name normally is there was just that and nothing else. But it looked right. I'm looking around. The part Id for the upper manifold is PAA HF 2. That doesn't show up in google or a honda parts website.
Did I get the right manifold? Everything looks fine- although I may have some future questions with pictures on where some things should go.
I just wanna know what the engine model was. Anyone?

Heres basically the same thing I got- I found these pics, Its a little different than the write up I found on how to do the swap. But I think it may be the Euro Accord intake. The big thing here that throws me off is the black sensor in the middle. Attached to the upper manifold but extends down to the lower. It would help if someone could help me identify the sensor and hose parts on here. I know the IAC, EGR, PCV. What else is there? Theres a white sensor sticking out the right side as well. What is that for?

the intake manifold you have pulled is a f23 manifold. If you have a f22b1 it will work. with some slight modifications (search google for the swap)

Thanks but I should mention that that pic up there wasnt a before- that pic I found. I thought I took a pic but I didnt, its been so long since I posted it. But thats exactly what it looked like actually. Pulled it out of a Upullit.
I bought a wire brush attachment for my drill and then sprayed it with VHT ceramic high heat.
I cleaned the inside real good with throttle body cleaner and soap. The inside was completely black before. I'm surprised with the results. Can't wait to get it in my car. I painted my valve cover with the same color too.

Can you guys help me label the parts so I can do the swap right?

g22cd5 08-26-2012 10:38 PM

what parts are you trying to lable?

RobinsonRicer 08-26-2012 10:59 PM

Actually I think I have it. I just have some vacuum lines to get in the right spots. Are there any special spots for those ones that are the 1/8" diameter ones? Or can they just go wherever they fit?

here is a diagram hope this helps

Yeah thatll help a lot. Thanks. Its just that there are different locations for the 1/8" vacuums. I suppose they can go anywhere within the upper manifold...
