New exhaust question
 

Instead of buying the buzz kit to fix my rattling exhaust I'm going to cut my cat out and straighy pipe it from the down pipe back and I'm curious what muffler everyone suggests. Keep the stock one? Or go with something aftermarket . I don't want a loud fart can but when I step on it I wanna hear it and I wanna keep it somewhat quiet at low rpm. I already hollowed out my cat but I want just alittle bit more sound/ performance outta it. And to eliminate my rattle problem

to eliminate the " drone "or " rattling " ur better off getting a mid muffler or resonator somewhere between your cat and muffler. also use J hooks to rubber mounts to decrease in vibrations. to remove your cat is illegal and you will not pass emissions, but most ppl do not look for it and will not know. hollowing it out compared to a straight pipe dosnt mean much either, because the only time u will need a cat is to pass inspection for emissions.
