I have a 2002 i4 sedan AT. I was wondering if a factory dual exhaust from a 2004 V6 AT Accord would be able to replace my stock exhaust without any problems. Don't rag on me cuz I don't know anything about exhausts!

Also, this is mainly for looks. I'm not looking to gain performance btw.

 

You would have to extend/shorten it to fit on your downpipe, but other than that, yes it would fit.

 

Wait, you think it'll fit? That's not only crossing generations but it's also 4-cyl to V-6.
I'd be real surprised if it fits without a lot of re-work.

 

Ah, didn't see the 2004 part. No, I don't think it'll fit without some modifications. That could include relocating a hanger, or rebending portions of it.

 

dare i ask...what about one muffler with two exhaust tips? Nothing exaggerated but what's your guys opinions on looks?

 

Meh, not a big fan of the double tips. Show some pics though, there are a trillion diff. designs.

 

It can look good, I had duals on my 95 and I thought it looked pretty badass.

 

I shake my head when i see dual exhaust on a 4cyl accord.
