questions on mufflers

i have a 2000 accord ex v6 and i am looking to put on a cold air intake. i have heard that aem is the best option and i am leaning that way. does anyone have any suggestions on that and what kind of horsepower gains cani expect from new magnaflow mufflers. also what kind of sound comes from these and any suggestions on better options would be helpful. lastly, any suggestions on the easiest cheapest ways to increase performance.

RE: questions on mufflers

cheapest and easiest.... AEM is great, if you go with a cold air though be sure to get a bypass valve.... personally I'd go with a Short Ram intake, buy it off e-bay for about $40.00 shipped, then buy an AEM dryflow filter, there's a few 2-5HP there (depending on your car, setup etc....) Magnaflow exhaust is supposed to be pretty nice but I've heard that it is very loud, if you want a loud exhaust (not ricey, just loud) then I think that Magnaflow or Flowmaster are great choices, if you want something that doesn't really get to noisy until it's reved then APEXi WS II is a good pick but kinda spendy....
