Reccommended exhaust upgrade for 2008 V6 coupe

So I just bought my first Honda accord and im in love with the damn thing. I want to put a new exhaust system on it and ive listened to a few magnaflow systems on youtube....you guys have any suggestions? I don't want it to sound too loud but I want it to be low and not sound like a damn lawn mower. I look forward to learning a lot on this site!

Are you going full cat back....or just for mufflers/tail pipes?

Full cat back. I was under the impression I could save on gas mileage also.

You won't gain gas mileage. It's a myth.

For exhausts, Magnaflow is popular. But some other good options are Greddy, Borla, Tanabe, or Apexi.

Good to know. Sucks, but thanks. The wife still doesn't have to know that!! My argument to her: "It will pay for itself eventually" lol

No chance of a cat back doing anything but either leaving fuel economy as-is, or making it worse. Long story short, there is no way changing the exhaust system can improve fuel economy.

Ok, now that fuel economy is not an option, what systems will not sound like getto rice burners? I listened to some magnaflow full cat back on youtube, and they sounded nice, but it's still hard to tell what it will sound like in person. Again, I don't want it to sound like the other 1995 honda accords around my area.

The V6 has 3 converters.

An option is installing a J-pipe. You can use the J-pipe with a high-flow converter after it or test pipe (rear cat delete).

There are several makers of J-pipes for your car.
