Reccommended exhaust upgrade for 2008 V6 coupe
So I just bought my first Honda accord and im in love with the damn thing. I want to put a new exhaust system on it and ive listened to a few magnaflow systems on youtube....you guys have any suggestions? I don't want it to sound too loud but I want it to be low and not sound like a damn lawn mower. I look forward to learning a lot on this site!

Are you going full cat back....or just for mufflers/tail pipes?

You won't gain gas mileage. It's a myth.
For exhausts, Magnaflow is popular. But some other good options are Greddy, Borla, Tanabe, or Apexi. |

Full cat back. I was under the impression I could save on gas mileage also.

No chance of a cat back doing anything but either leaving fuel economy as-is, or making it worse. Long story short, there is no way changing the exhaust system can improve fuel economy.

The V6 has 3 converters.
An option is installing a J-pipe. You can use the J-pipe with a high-flow converter after it or test pipe (rear cat delete). There are several makers of J-pipes for your car. |
